Konami updated the Digital Entertainment Business section on its official website and, along with that, revealed fresh sales data for its key game series.
The main achievement was the growth of Metal Gear's figures. As of the end of December 2025, total series sales reached 65.5 million copies — 400 thousand more than Konami had indicated in its October report. The franchise remains one of the most successful in the publisher's history.
Positive momentum was also recorded for Silent Hill. If in the autumn Konami spoke of 3 million copies sold, now the total circulation has increased to 4 million. The rise in interest is linked to the warm reception of Silent Hill f from critics, as well as anticipation for new projects in the famous horror series.
The latest major release in the Metal Gear universe was the remake Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The game was released in August 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
