The project will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam) on February 17.
Publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Slime King Games have announced the release date for the pixel action RPG Under the Island. At the same time, the developers presented a new trailer showcasing gameplay.
Under the Island invites players to embark on a journey through a vibrant world inspired by adventure games of the 1990s. Players will have to save Shell Island, which is under threat of flooding, while also coming to terms with their own destiny.
The creators promise six diverse biomes, a dynamic day-and-night cycle, weather effects, and an event system that makes each playthrough unique. During the adventure, players will explore dungeons, solve puzzles, collect artifacts, and battle enemies.
Under the Island will be released on February 17. The game is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, where the project can already be added to a wishlist.
