According to the Chinese outlet Board Channels, manufacturers and distributors are planning a second wave of price adjustments after the January increase.

At the beginning of 2026, the cost of AMD graphics cards had already risen by 5–10%, and at that time this affected not only Radeon, but also NVIDIA solutions. The main reasons are still said to be rising memory prices and shortages of DRAM and NAND.

Sources report that the new increase is expected between February and March. Because of this, distributors are increasing warehouse inventories in advance, trying to lock in current purchase prices and preserve margins. For end buyers, this means continued growth in retail prices, as well as the risk of an "artificial shortage," when retailers postpone sales in anticipation of the next increase.

The exact scale of the second wave has not yet been disclosed, but analysts suggest that it will once again involve a gradual increase within the same 5–10% range. The general strategy of AMD partners is also noted: to align Radeon prices relative to comparable NVIDIA models.
