The game will feature the languages of the Baltic countries.
Recently, the creators of the RTS Broken Arrow held a special stream dedicated to the strategy game's future.
They spoke about the status of the free expansion "Baltic Battalion" — the game will receive a new specialization representing the combined forces of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
According to the developers:
[…] the amount of work on this DLC turned out to be significantly greater than simply transferring units from the campaign into multiplayer. Units within the campaign do not require the level of detail, flexibility, and polish that is necessary for full-fledged multiplayer content.
While working on the DLC, the Broken Arrow team prepared models, unit customization, and authentic voice acting:
As part of the DLC, more than 30 3D models were created or substantially reworked, a full customization system for all units was added, and new hand-drawn portraits were created. Full voice acting, which had previously been absent, was also added. It was decided to use the native languages of the Baltic countries in combat lines: Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian, which required additional preparation and community involvement.
At this point, the developers "only need to complete the recording and integration of the final voice lines, and after that the DLC will be fully ready for release."
