The announcement of a new game from the creators of Silent Hill 2 Remake and Cronos is near. The studio head is building anticipation

Piotr Babieno, president of the Krakow-based studio Bloober Team, commented on the rumors surrounding the team's new, as yet unannounced project.

After the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake and the announcement of Cronos: The New Dawn, fans assumed that the studio was working on an updated version of a PS2-era horror game — Rule of Rose. The reason was a mysterious teaser featuring a red rose motif, which quickly spread across social media.

Responding to the speculation on his LinkedIn page, Babieno stated that Bloober Team is not working on a Rule of Rose remake. Moreover, the studio head clarified that the next game is not a remake of any existing title. The team is betting on its own brand, in line with its new strategy of creating big-budget horror games with action elements.

At the same time, Bloober Team continues its cooperation with Konami. It has been confirmed that the studio is actively working on a remake of the first Silent Hill.
