The Battlefield 6 developers have released a small but important patch, 1.1.3.6. The update is aimed at improving stability, fixing specific bugs, and enhancing the game's overall technical state.
One of the key focuses of the update was the movement system. The developers eliminated situations in which combining sprinting and jumping produced incorrect acceleration — sometimes faster, sometimes slower than intended. Rare but noticeable anomalies in character behavior under unusual conditions were also fixed.
The cosmetic items Objective Ace and Winter Warning received visual refinements to better match Battlefield's signature style and not stand out from the game's overall artistic direction.
Particular attention was paid to console stability. On PlayStation 5, an issue with verifying game ownership rights was fixed, which could cause connection interruptions after system events. On Xbox Series S, a crash related to insufficient memory when loading daily and weekly challenges was resolved.
On the Eastwood map, the developers cleaned up the lighting and destruction effects. Previously, explosions near points A and B could cause strange green and purple tints on buildings, complete lighting shutdowns across the entire map, or excessively bright flashes. All of these issues have now been resolved.
