A set with Mutilator miniatures for Warhammer 40,000 has been unveiled - transformed into living weapons

This year, fans of unholy Space Marines will be able to answer the question, "Why carry a weapon if you can become one yourself?", as the developers of the tabletop game Warhammer 40,000 are releasing a set featuring Mutilators.

Games Workshop has unveiled a new set for the tabletop game Warhammer 40,000 containing miniatures of three Mutilators. These monstrous creatures are born when a mind obsessed with slaughter falls victim to one of the many techno-viruses dwelling in the Warp.

At first, the changes are barely noticeable: the Space Marine begins obsessively cleaning and sharpening weapons, unwilling to part with his favorite blade. However, before long, flesh and armor fuse into a single impossible whole, the host's mind collapses, and the body swells to imposing proportions.

Mutilators greedily consume daemonic weapons, claiming their power for themselves. Baring dagger-sharp teeth in a grin, they hack apart and break the bodies of their enemies, and each new kill feeds and strengthens the spirits of their corrupted implements.

The set will go on sale in the coming months — together with Warpsmith Kravok Morn and the mysterious book "Eye of Terror" (the name of a gigantic Warp rift located in Segmentum Obscurus).
