Nintendo has officially confirmed a new Direct Partner Showcase. The announcement initially appeared in the Nintendo Today! mobile app and was later confirmed through Nintendo of America’s official account on X. The broadcast will take place on February 5 at 5:00 PM Moscow time.
The upcoming presentation will be Nintendo’s third Nintendo Direct in 2026: the company previously held separate showcases dedicated to the Super Mario Galaxy film and the game Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. At the same time, this Partner Showcase is the first in this format since July 2025.
According to Nintendo, the stream will last about 30 minutes and will be entirely dedicated to games from third-party publishers and studios. The focus will be on projects coming to both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Accordingly, there is no reason to expect announcements or news about Nintendo’s own games.
Among the potential participants in the showcase are The Duskbloods and Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which may receive new trailers or additional details. Earlier, there was also discussion about the possibility of news regarding a Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4, but after Take-Two confirmed a "freeze" on development of this port, such expectations have diminished.
