However, as Nintendo Treehouse staffer Kori Olksvari reported, Labo VR owners will be able to use it for Virtual Boy games. Those who did not manage to buy the $99.99 virtual version or the $24.99 cardboard version can simply use Labo.
Labo compatibility with Virtual Boy is no secret; Nintendo simply does not advertise it, since the cardboard kit is no longer available.
Although the trailer announcing Virtual Boy explicitly stated that new accessories were required, it has now become clear that Labo is suitable. The only limitation is that the old Labo works only with the original Switch, while the Virtual Boy accessories are also compatible with Switch 2.
