However, the market situation has noticeably worsened over the past few months: the memory shortage has intensified, and prices continue to rise rapidly. Under these conditions, Valve is forced to reconsider its supply logistics and its approach to setting the final price of the devices.
At the same time, the company emphasizes that it is not abandoning its plans for a release in the first half of the year. The team is now working to determine prices and release dates that can be announced with confidence, taking market instability into account. Valve promised to share new information as it becomes available.
