It seems that New Vegas and Robert House will return in the continuation of the series.
After the finale of the second season, Fallout viewers are actively discussing where the Ghoul — Walton Goggins' character, formerly actor Cooper Howard — will head next.
The latest episode made it clear that his path leads to Colorado — a region that fans of the Fallout games have not seen before. It is there, Cooper believes, that his wife and daughter may be. At the same time, judging by comments from showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet, the series is not done yet with New Vegas and Mister House.
According to Robertson-Dworet, House and Cooper share a common past that the creators intend to revisit. The showrunner noted that House is clearly intrigued by Cooper and does not fully understand why his own algorithms indicate the exceptional importance of this man.
Meanwhile, Maximus and Lucy remain in New Vegas, in whose outskirts a large-scale conflict between factions is brewing. It is precisely this sense of incompletion and the showrunners' comments that create the impression that the region's story is still far from over. If in the second season the series changed its main location, then the third, judging by the hints, may unfold in several places at once.
