Capcom Showed Pragmata on Switch 2: Details are Simpler, but There's a Nuance

Initially, Pragmata was announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but after the announcement of the new Nintendo console, the developers confirmed a version for Nintendo Switch 2.

Capcom has been actively supporting Nintendo platforms in recent years and regularly releases its projects on them. In this context, the appearance of Pragmata on Switch 2 seems like a logical step if the publisher wants to reach the maximum audience.

A comparison of Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 shows that the differences are noticeable primarily in the quality of details and lighting. The most striking thing is the elaboration of the heroine's hair: Switch 2 uses a different technology or a more simplified version, which makes the hairstyle look more modest and less "cinematic" than on PS5.

At the same time, the game looks decent in motion. You shouldn't expect the level of PS5 from a portable console, but if Pragmata maintains 50–60 frames per second on Switch 2, platform owners are unlikely to be dissatisfied — in such a dynamic game, smoothness is often more important than maximum detail.
