MobileGamer.biz has published a ranking of the highest-grossing mobile games for January 2026, based on data from the AppMagic analytics platform. The statistics only consider revenue from in-game purchases, excluding revenue from advertising, payments through web stores, Apple and Google commissions, and without taking into account the Chinese Android market.

The absolute leader of the month was Honor of Kings. The MOBA from Tencent showed a sharp increase in revenue: from nearly $79 million in December to more than $172 million in January. This is one of the best results in the game's history and a figure close to the record of October 2021, when the project earned about $184 million.

Second place was taken by Monopoly Go. The Scopely project returned to the $120+ million range after several months of fluctuations around the $100 million mark.

Third place went to Last War: Survival with a result of about $120 million. However, the month was rather weak for the game: in December, its revenue approached $139 million, and since the end of 2024, the project's revenue has shown noticeable fluctuations.

Next is Royal Match. The Dream Games studio's game added another month-over-month increase and earned $109 million, its best result since October 2025.

Roblox closes out the top 5 and shows an expected decline after the holidays. January revenue was about $107 million, compared to $125 million a month earlier, due to students returning to school.

Outside the top five, analysts specifically note Pokémon Go. In January, the game showed the lowest result in the last nine years, with about $26 million in revenue.
