Cyberpunk 2077 Quest Director and now sequel Game Director Paweł Sasko recently spoke out again on social media.
The occasion was an anniversary — he has been working at CD Projekt RED for 14 years:
The Witcher saga ignited my imagination when I was a teenager. In 2003, I read in the media that CDPR was making a game based on The Witcher. It seemed unreal, audacious, and very cool. I vowed to myself that one day I would work there. Exactly 14 years ago, I first walked into the office as a new employee.
Paweł shared his memories of the CDPR he came to work for:
It seemed unreal. A mysterious, magical forge where some of the best talents in the world are born. Bold, confident, rebellious, full of passion — but still an outsider studio. Ready to work, prove itself, grow, and become one of the best game development studios in the world. And I was a part of it. Today, 14 years later, it feels like a real blessing. I had a chance — and for that I will always be grateful. In a way, I am still the same person, my passion and drive to achieve the goal have not only been preserved, but have also grown stronger.
