Grasshopper Manufacture has released a release trailer for their "ultra-violent science fiction action game" ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN, which will be available on February 11 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
As commentators note, it's not immediately clear from the trailer what the game is about, but it is made in the recognizable and insane style of game designer Goichi "Suda51" Suda.
The game's plot unfolds after a catastrophe that destroyed space-time itself. On the verge of life and death, Romeo is resurrected thanks to experimental super-technology and joins the ranks of the Cosmic FBI Police as a special agent. Traveling through the universe, he hunts down criminals who took advantage of the chaos to restore justice. At the same time, Romeo is looking for clues related to the disappearance of his beloved Juliet and soon begins to suspect that her fate is closely linked to the disaster that occurred.
