EA Veteran Appointed as New Head of Remedy Entertainment

Jean-Charles Gaudéchon will take office in March.

Remedy Entertainment has announced the appointment of Jean-Charles Gaudéchon as the company's new CEO. He will take office on March 1. Until then, co-founder of the studio Markus Mäki will continue to serve as interim director.

Gaudéchon has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the gaming and digital industry. Previously, he held key management positions at companies such as Electronic Arts and CCP Games.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Remedy Entertainment, Henri Österlund, noted that the appointment of Gaudéchon will be an important step towards the company's profitable growth. According to him, the new head's experience in developing game franchises and managing international studios is an excellent fit for Remedy's current stage of development. Österlund also emphasized that under Gaudéchon's leadership, the company expects to accelerate growth, strengthen independence through self-publishing, and ensure long-term value for players, partners, and shareholders.
