Hazelight Studios has officially started developing its next major game. This was announced by the studio's founder, Josef Fares, who promised that the new project would be "even better" than Split Fiction. Fares also posted a photo from the set, which shows actors in motion capture suits.
A detail in the photo attracted particular attention from fans — there are three actors present at once. This may hint at a larger number of main characters than usual. Until now, all Hazelight projects — A Way Out, It Takes Two, and Split Fiction — have been focused on cooperative play for two players. It is possible that the studio is experimenting with the format and considering the possibility of a three-person co-op, although it is too early to draw definitive conclusions.
