The game rating for Xbox Series unexpectedly appeared on the ESRB website, mentioning in-game purchases. This almost certainly indicates that this is a full-fledged remake with a modern business model, and not a regular port. Previous versions for PS4 and Xbox One included all add-ons and were without microtransactions.
In mid-January, actress Eva La Dare, who voices Sheva, published a message on X hinting at March: "several cool things" in honor of the 30th anniversary of the series, using the hashtags #residentevil5 and #shevaalomar.
Although it was previously believed that the next project after Resident Evil Requiem would be a remake of Code: Veronica, ESRB data is almost never wrong. State of Play on February 13 is likely to dispel all doubts.
