The demo version received 99% positive reviews before release, but the starting online in Steam turned out to be modest.
Old Cake Factory has released Goblin Sushi in early access. This is a restaurant simulator with roguelike elements where the player manages a sushi bar for goblins, experiments with ingredients, and balances between profit and business survival. The early access version significantly expands the demo: new characters, an upgrade store, a meta-progression system, cursed upgrades, and an additional boss have appeared.
Before release, the project was perceived as a potential indie hit. The demo version on Steam received 99% positive reviews, and players compared the game to Good Pizza, Great Pizza, noting the "addictive" gameplay loop and specific humor. Many wrote that even the trial version feels almost like the final product.
Nevertheless, the start of early access was noticeably below expectations. According to Steam, the peak online after release reached 573 people. At the time of publication, the game has about 80 user reviews, of which 85% are positive.
Goblin Sushi is available on PC on Steam, as well as on iOS and Android. In the Russian App Store, the game was priced at 449 rubles, in Steam - 346 rubles, taking into account the starting discount of 10%. Russian language support is declared.
