The creators of the adaptation of the visual novel about an unstable streamer have revealed new details about the project.
The AniPlex channel has presented a new trailer for the anime based on the indie hit NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE. The video features the opening theme "INTERNET ANGEL," performed by the main heroine. The music was composed by Aiobahn +81, while the lyrics were written by the original game's author, Nyalra.
It also became known that the cast has expanded: Anna Nagase, who voices a new heroine named Kache, has joined the project.
Production is being handled by Yostar Pictures, which previously worked on adaptations of Arknights and Blue Archive. The director is Masaoki Nakajima, who had earlier directed the short version of NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE.
The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2026. A month before that, the feature film Needy Girl Overdose: Overture will be released in Japanese theaters, serving as a kind of prequel to the series.
