This was announced by the founder and CEO of the studio, Goichi "Suda51" Suda
Grasshopper Manufacture founder and CEO Goichi "Suda51" Suda has stated that the studio plans to release another new game before the end of 2026. He announced this in a video message on the company's official YouTube channel, timed to coincide with the release of Romeo is a Dead Man.
According to Suda, Romeo is a Dead Man will not be Grasshopper's only release this year.
It's almost 100% certain that we will release another game in 2026. What kind of project will it be? When will we be able to announce it? We're not sure yet, but I think we'll be able to make an announcement soon.
In the same video, Suda answered players' questions about a possible version for Switch 2, a physical edition, and an art book for Romeo is a Dead Man.
According to him, the studio planned to release an art book and soundtrack simultaneously with the game's release, but "didn't make it in time." These materials will still be released later — the developers asked fans to wait a little longer.
As for the physical edition, Grasshopper is in talks with several companies to release the game on physical media.
Work is also continuing on a version for the Nintendo Switch 2. According to the head of the studio, the team is making every effort to ensure that the port takes place, but asks for additional time.
