As noted by a user on the network under the nickname BioDeclassified, almost two years ago, Apostolides published a mysterious post. In it, the actor showed a photo where he is holding a hatchet with a pink ribbon on the handle — obviously, a prop for motion capture. Under the picture, he wrote: «Today was a really good day in my life. Special thanks for this to those who are close to me. Looking forward».

At that time, fans did not attach much importance to the publication. However, now that Leon has been officially confirmed as one of the main characters of Resident Evil Requiem, and in the game he uses a hatchet as a weapon, it becomes clear that this was far from a random hint.
