Kadokawa announced its intention to release The Duskbloods from FromSoftware by the end of 2026

Also this year will see the release of a new game in the Danganronpa series.

Kadokawa Group presented the financial results of the gaming segment for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, and also confirmed several major releases planned for 2026. In particular, FromSoftware is developing several projects at once, including ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition and The Duskbloods — both games will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. In addition, Spike Chunsoft is preparing a new installment in the Danganronpa series, which is also scheduled for release in 2026.

For the period from April to December 2025, the revenue of Kadokawa's gaming division amounted to ¥23.381 billion, which is 11.6% less compared to the same period last year. Operating profit decreased by 7.0% to ¥8.050 billion.

In the third quarter (October–December 2025), the figures were weaker:

• revenue decreased by 18.2% to ¥6.787 billion
• operating profit fell by 46.3% to ¥1.388 billion

Despite the decline, the company notes that it maintains a stable operating margin for the nine months.
