MSI has officially priced the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 32G Lightning Z video card at a symbolic $5090, but not everyone will be able to buy it at this price. To purchase the device on the company's official website, you must participate in a lottery — only the winners will have the right to place an order.
The RTX 5090 Lightning Z is a limited edition, with a total circulation of only 1300 units worldwide. Of these, 100 video cards are intended for Taiwan, where they are also available exclusively through a raffle.
Meanwhile, the situation is different in India. Major local retailers have already started selling the RTX 5090 Lightning Z directly, without participating in the lottery. However, the price differs significantly from the official one: it starts at approximately $9,000.
For example, the Computer Tech Store offers the video card for 819,999 Indian rupees (about $9053), and the product is currently in stock. PC Hub Shop has put the model up for sale at a price of 869,999 rupees (approximately $9605) — the card is also available for purchase. At MD Computers, it can be purchased for 875,300 rupees (about $9665), and it is also listed as in stock here. Another retailer, Elite Hubs, priced the device at $9665, but the video card is currently out of stock.
