The project still hasn't received the land battles announced for 2025. After the release, the developers also talked about expanding the map, but these changes did not follow.
Currently, land battles are likely not to be expected until the second half of 2026 — if they are added at all.

So far, support for Skull and Bones has mainly been limited to fixing bugs identified at the start and minor innovations. The largest addition since release has been maximum tonnage ships.
