According to insider Daniel Richtman, the HBO "Harry Potter" series has already decided on the actor who will voice Voldemort.
We are only talking about the character's voice so far, which may indicate the absence of a full-fledged screen appearance in the first season. At the same time, the creators plan to expand the lines of secondary characters — to pay more attention to the Malfoy family, other students and teachers.
It is possible that the physical embodiment of the Dark Lord will appear only in subsequent seasons. In the film franchise, Voldemort, played by Ralph Fiennes, also first appeared in full only in the fourth film — "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."
Earlier, Cillian Murphy and Tilda Swinton were mentioned in the media as possible contenders for the role. Murphy has publicly denied involvement in the project, and Swinton has not commented on the situation.
The premiere of the first season of "Harry Potter" is scheduled for early 2027.
