Ubisoft has published its financial report for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, which ended on December 31, 2025. It is important to note that the data does not take into account the large-scale layoffs and restructuring announced earlier this year as part of the company's so-called "major reboot".
According to the report, the quarter was successful: net bookings amounted to €338 million, which is 12% more compared to the same period last fiscal year. Thus, double-digit growth was recorded even before the start of large-scale changes in the company's structure.
The main driver of growth was the "overperformance" of the Assassin's Creed franchise. Additional contributions were made by Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and The Division. The historical strategy Anno 117: Pax Romana also performed better than its predecessor, Anno 1800.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege performed as expected. Ubisoft notes that the dynamics were influenced by an "especially saturated" market for first-person shooters.
CEO Yves Guillemot stated that the company demonstrated "strong results in the third quarter" and exceeded its own forecasts. According to him, the success reflects the strength of the portfolio and the high level of player engagement in key franchises, supported by new releases and content updates.
