Arc System Works has released the interactive novel "Dear me, I was…" on PC and mobile devices.

The game debuted in the summer of 2025 as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, and is now available to a wider audience. It is a short interactive project lasting less than an hour, built without text dialogues. The story tells the life of a woman through a series of visual scenes, reflecting joys, losses, and internal upheavals.

Arc System Works describes the game as a "lifelong story," where emotions are conveyed exclusively through visual language. The artistic style is executed in a watercolor manner with the use of rotoscoping, which gives the movements additional realism.

Maho Taguchi directed "Dear me, I was…", Ryōhei Endō produced it, and Taisuke Kanasaki, known for the visual novels Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Last Window: The Secret of Cape West, is responsible for the visual style.

The project is already available on Steam, App Store, and Google Play. In the Russian region, the game costs 320 rubles on all platforms.
