Publisher CE-Asia and studio SenseGames have announced the first expansion for AI Limit called Eirene’s Furnace of War. Along with the announcement, the developers presented a gameplay trailer showcasing new locations and bosses. The release is scheduled for March 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and PC. It is not yet specified whether the expansion will be paid.
The DLC story unfolds after the finale of the main campaign. Swordswoman Arrisa will go to the Temple of War, where she will have to pass the tests of Bishop of War Eiren. Players will find a new unique boss, as well as redesigned enemies from the main game. They have been added new mechanics to complicate battles and refresh familiar battles. Previously, the developers emphasized that AI Limit is "not just another soulslike", but the official statement notes that the expansion is designed for experienced players of the genre.
The DLC will also expand the arsenal. The authors will add new types of weapons, armor, spells and seals, which will allow you to flexibly customize builds and experiment with strategies in battles with new enemies.
Since its release in 2025, AI Limit has received 92% positive reviews on Steam based on more than 32 thousand ratings and has become the most successful international release of CE-Asia. The game is available on PlayStation 5, as well as on PC in Steam and Epic Games Store.
