Universal has revealed the timing of the animated film "Super Mario: Galactic Cinema". Two months before the premiere, the studio registered the film in the EIDR database, which indicates the duration — 95 minutes.
Thus, the space adventure is only three minutes longer than the 2023 "The Super Mario Bros. Movie", which lasted 92 minutes. Illumination still adheres to the format of compact family releases lasting about an hour and a half.
In the sequel, Chris Pratt will once again voice Mario, Charlie Day will return to the role of Luigi, and Anya Taylor-Joy and Keegan-Michael Key will once again give their voices to Princess Peach and Toad. According to the plot, the heroes will go on a space trip, meet Yoshi and face Bowser Jr. The appearance of Princess Rosalina is also expected.
The premiere of "Super Mario: Galactic Cinema" is scheduled for April 1.
