The release date of the third and final season of "Good Omens" has been revealed. The concluding chapter of the story of the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley will be released on May 13, 2026.
The new season will differ from the previous ones in format. Instead of a traditional set of episodes, viewers will get a 90-minute film. Producer Josh Cole explained that this decision made it possible to give the finale "a more cinematic and focused character".
The series is based on the novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman and tells the story of the friendship between the angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and the demon Crowley (David Tennant), who have lived on Earth for millennia and have grown too attached to humanity to allow the world to be destroyed by the forces of Heaven and Hell. The first season adapted the original book, while the subsequent ones developed ideas that Gaiman and Pratchett did not have time to bring to life before the writer's death.
