Several High-Profile Games from State of Play 2026 Will Bypass Xbox Series X|S

After February's State of Play, Xbox Series X|S owners were left out of some announcements. Most of the games shown will be released on multiple platforms, but Silent Hill: Townfall and Kena: Scars of Kosmora will not appear on Microsoft consoles on release day.

Promotional materials and official announcements from Konami and Ember Lab indicate only PS5 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). This concerns temporary exclusivity for Sony.

Silent Hill: Townfall will have a first-person perspective and focus on the story of a character named Simon. A key gameplay element is a pocket CRT television for receiving mysterious signals.

Kena: Scars of Kosmora will continue the original with an expanded island, an enhanced combat system, and larger battles with bosses. The developers promise graphics in the style of an interactive animated film.

4Loop, Yakoh Shinobi Ops, and Rev.Noir will also not be released on Xbox on release day. The consoles will also miss Sony projects, including the updated God of War trilogy.
