A large-scale HD Remaster Mod from modder QTmodz has been released for Assassin’s Creed 2007. The update noticeably revises the visual component and actually turns the original into an unofficial remaster.
The modification adds HD shadows, reflections and textures, as well as 4K clouds and new skyboxes. Improvements have affected most surfaces, including buildings, land, stone elements and vegetation. The author also reworked the lighting and glow effect to make the picture look more modern, while maintaining the original artistic style.
In fact, this is the closest option to a full-fledged remaster for fans of the first part. Ubisoft has not yet announced plans to reissue the debut game in the series. According to rumors, the company is focused on Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which is expected to be announced in April.
You can download the modification at the following link. The author also published a separate video with installation instructions.
