RocketWerkz and GRIP studios have announced the delay of the console version of the popular survival game ICARUS. Previously, the developers announced that the game would debut on consoles on February 26, but now the release will take place a month later — March 26 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The studio emphasized that the game is "in good and stable condition", but additional time is needed for final polishing.
After careful consideration, we have decided to move the release date to Thursday, March 26. This additional month will allow us to refine the gameplay and ensure the best possible launch.
According to them, the team identified several aspects that require additional polishing. Instead of releasing a project with known issues, the authors preferred to take a few more weeks to refine it. The team is now focused on optimizing the gameplay and content so that the console version works exactly as intended.
