Paramount has confirmed Kristen Bell for the role of Amy Rose in \"Sonic 4 in Movie\". The casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, and later confirmed by Ben Schwartz, who voices Sonic. Bell is widely known for her role as Anna in \"Frozen\", and her portfolio also includes roles in the films \"Burlesque\" and \"Veronica Mars\".
Amy first appeared in a post-credits scene of \"Sonic 3 in Movie\". Sonic was surrounded by an army of Metal Sonics, and the pink hedgehog saved him, thus indicating her future participation in the sequel.
Plot details for the fourth part have not yet been revealed. Insiders previously reported that the film may be based on the events of Sonic CD and the theme of time travel. According to one version, Amy Rose will arrive from a destroyed future to unite with Sonic and confront an alternate version of Doctor Robotnik and Metal Sonic.
