Analysts estimate the game has generated around $25 million USD for its creators.
The indie hit Mewgenics has surpassed one million copies sold on Steam and, according to analysts, has already generated approximately $25 million in gross revenue for its developers.
Co-developer Tyler Glaiel announced the achievement on social media, confirming that the game has sold over a million copies. In turn, Rhys Elliott, an analyst at Alinea Analytics, specified that, according to his estimates, Mewgenics has generated nearly $25 million in revenue.
According to Elliott, Mewgenics currently ranks second in revenue among 2026 releases on Steam, second only to Nioh 3, which costs $70. Mewgenics, however, sells for $30. The analyst suggests that if the current dynamics continue, the project may soon reach the top spot in revenue on the platform.
