Actor Christopher Judge, who played Kratos in God of War and God of War Ragnarök, answered several questions about the future of the God of War franchise and remakes of the original trilogy while talking to blogger Fuzhpuzy at Fan Expo in Vancouver.
When asked if he would appear in the remake of the trilogy, Judge predictably answered in the negative. According to him, the original actor, Terrence "T.C." Carson, who voiced the Spartan in the classic games of the series, will return to the role of Kratos. The studio had previously indicated that it did not plan to change the actor in the updated versions of the first parts.
At the same time, Judge emphasized that we are not talking about a complete reboot, but about remakes. The projects will receive modern technology and an updated combat system, which should noticeably refresh the classic trilogy for a new generation of players.
