The card roguelike will be released in Early Access on Steam on March 5, but iOS and Android users will have to wait.
Recently, Mega Crit studio confirmed that Slay the Spire 2 will be released in Early Access on Steam on March 5, 2026. After the release date announcement, the developers were asked about the mobile version, as the original game achieved notable success on iOS and Android as well.
On social media, the team clarified that the mobile port will "appear at some point", but it definitely won't be ready for the start of Early Access on PC. Specific release dates on smartphones are not given. Considering that the first part spent about two years in Early Access, the launch of the mobile version of the sequel may take a long time.
At the start of Early Access, Slay the Spire 2 will offer five characters, new cards, relics, events, and alternative acts. The developers promise to regularly release updates with additional content and balance fixes throughout the development period.
