At the end of January, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales was also announced for iOS and Android – this is a re-release of the 2018 game.
According to the Polish publication Strefa Inwestorów, neither Reigns nor Thronebreaker belong to the new, unannounced projects of CD Projekt RED, which are expected in 2026.
Investors received information packages from the company's management and game sector analysts, which indicate that the studio is preparing new projects that can support the goals of the incentive program, ending this year.
It could be either an addition to The Witcher 3 or a completely new project. As an example of a possible announcement format, analysts cite the Reign of the Witcher expansion for Diablo II: it was announced suddenly without large-scale marketing events, and the reaction of the players was positive, and the sales were high.
