New content is being prepared for EFT.
Recently, the head of Battlestate Games published a new mysterious teaser for Escape from Tarkov. He noted that it will "most likely" appear in the second quarter of 2026.
Judging by the inscriptions, this is somehow connected with Prapor and (apparently) with someone's butt.
Nikita Buyanov also answered several questions from the Escape from Tarkov community:
- Initially, a maximum group of 3 players will be able to transition to the "Icebreaker", and after the event is completed, the location will be open to everyone.
- Work is underway to fix the exploit with transitions (some are bugged out of the raid at the transition point).
- The return of the Black Division has been confirmed: they will patrol locations, this will become a "feature" during the release of the first seasonal character.
- In the future, they plan to use the Black Division more.
- New lighting is going to be introduced into EFT gradually.
