A new type of gameplay is coming soon to ATS.
The creators of the truck driver simulator American Truck Simulator have released a diary dedicated to the work on the new Road Trip mode. Players will be offered to drive ordinary cars.
When starting work, they turned to the community with a request to provide cars for collecting references and recording authentic sounds. A fan from Germany, who owns a Ford Crown Victoria, responded to the call.
The ATS developers met with him and studied the car. At the end of the video diary, they showed a model of the car in the game.
The Road Trip mode for American Truck Simulator does not yet have a release date. Two DLC pages with cars are already available on Steam — Ford Car Pack and RAM & Dodge Car Pack.
