The developers of the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game have presented a new miniature — the "Destrier." It is a Bellatus-class imperial knight, valued for its high speed and elegance.
Two large rocket boosters are mounted on the rear of its armor. Their thrust is so powerful that massive counterweights have been added to the machine's legs to maintain balance.
It uses exceptional maneuverability to quickly close with the enemy and engage in close combat. In battle, the "Destrier" employs "Thunderstrike" lances — rocket-boosted power spears capable of piercing even the heaviest armor — as well as chainswords, perfectly suited for destroying enemy squads.
In addition, the knight is equipped with "Avenger" gatling cannons and a fragmentation bombard. Its chassis is shorter than that of the Questoris class, but still significantly larger than that of the Armigers ("Squires").
The "Destrier" will enter battle alongside its allies from the Adeptus Mechanicus when the next expansion for Warhammer 40,000 is released.
