Tactical Adventures has published a new trailer for Solasta II, showing in detail how the sequel differs from the original Solasta: Crown of the Magister. The game will enter early access on Steam on March 12, 2026.

Main innovations:

  1. Voice acting – Ellen Thomas (Ambessa in "Arcane"), Amelia Tyler (the narrator in Baldur’s Gate 3), Devora Wilde (Lae'zel in Baldur’s Gate 3), and Ben Starr (Verso in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33) have joined the project.
  2. Engine – Unreal Engine 5 has replaced the previous one, improving lighting, character models, and environments, including updated kobolds.
  3. System – the 2024 Dungeons & Dragons rules. The new Weapon Masteries mechanic expands the tactical capabilities of classes, especially Fighters and Barbarians.
  4. Exploration – a new world map allows locations to be explored more freely and hidden events and rewards to be found.
  5. Narrative – player choice has a stronger influence on the story, dialogues engage the entire party, and multiclass heroes return, able to combine professions with the appropriate attributes.

Solasta II promises to become a larger-scale and deeper RPG than the first game, with expanded tactical and narrative possibilities.
