The situation surrounding 1348 Ex Voto is not shaping up well. Previously, the project was called a potential hit, capable of competing with A Plague Tale: Innocence, but the demo has cast doubt on those assessments.
Discussion of the version on Steam is focused on the weak technical side. Players complain about unstable and low frame rates – drops from 70 to 10 FPS. The gameplay has also been criticized: primitive attack animations and monotony are felt even in the demo.
The problem is that there are only a few weeks left until the release on PS5 and PC. With the current level of negativity, where positive reviews are almost non-existent, a premiere postponement is possible.
Interest in the demo version has also been low. According to SteamDB, the peak online presence was only 122 simultaneous players.
