On February 25, Arc System Works announced an agreement with Bandai Namco Entertainment to transfer publishing rights for the fighting game Guilty Gear -Strive-.

From February 26, 2026, the publishing rights for the game in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and Asia regions officially transfer to Arc System Works. The company will take over sales, promotion, and all related operations. This change will not affect the United States, Japan, and South Korea, where Arc System Works is already the publisher of the project.

The developer expressed its "deepest gratitude" to Bandai Namco Entertainment for their support of Guilty Gear -Strive- in Europe and Asia and promised to ensure the smoothest possible transfer of rights. It is emphasized that the change of publisher will not affect player saves, purchased add-ons, or online matches — users will be able to continue playing using their current accounts without any changes.

At the same time, with the change of publisher, all inquiries and requests related to Guilty Gear -Strive- will now be directed to Arc System Works directly. The company has already prepared separate support forms for the EMEA and Asia regions.

During the maintenance on February 26, the game will be updated to version 1.52. The patch is intended to ensure the transfer of rights and will not make changes to the gameplay. In addition, according to producer Ken Miyauchi, preparations for the major update 2.00 "are on schedule" and will not be affected by the change of publisher.
