The developers couldn't believe their eyes.
In the new installment of the Creator’s Voice series, Resident Evil Requiem game director Koshi Nakanishi said that the studio initially doubted whether the Switch 2 could handle a project of this level. However, the console's improved graphics performance allowed the game to run without noticeable compromises.
When we first saw the game in action on the Nintendo Switch 2, we even asked ourselves: "Wow, does it really work like this on the Switch 2?". Everything was so smooth that we decided not to make any additional changes and just release the game on this platform. It looks great in portable mode with these specs.
Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2.
