The second season of the animated series will be released on May 12, 2026, and will focus on the confrontation between Dante and Vergil.
Netflix presented an exclusive clip of the second season of Devil May Cry as part of IGN Fan Fest 2026. The video showed "new" characters — Ebony and Ivory, Dante's signature pistols from the original Capcom games.
In the second season, Dante will once again face his brother Vergil. Previously, showrunner and executive producer of the project Adi Shankar noted in an interview with Collider that in the animated adaptation, Vergil will retain the familiar image of the character, who "can stand still and still seem like the most dangerous person in the room."
Johnny Yong Bosch will return to his role as the voice of Dante, and Robbie Daymond, who once again voiced Vergil. Scout Taylor-Compton will once again play the role of Lady, also known as Mary Ann Arkham.
The premiere of the second season will take place on Netflix on May 12, 2026.
