A trial version of the brutal shooter Armatus, developed by Counterplay Games Inc (Godfall), has become available on Steam. The demo features four weapons, three abilities, and one boss — a demon named Monument.
Armatus is scheduled for release by the end of this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.
ARMATUS is a third-person roguelite shooter set in the demon-infested ruins of Paris. Become the last warrior of an ancient order to cleanse the city and find the lost path to the heavens – the Dark Gate – using supernatural abilities and powerful weapons. Knowledge becomes a weapon, and death is a new beginning. In each new round, you continue to fight the cruel devils who seek to destroy you with the help of a scythe and a chosen firearm. To defeat them, develop your own battle style using supernatural abilities and passive upgrades. Resurrect after death and continue to fight.
