Counter-Strike 2 saw a major wave of VAC bans - Valve punished thousands of cheaters in a single day

The fight against cheaters in CS2 continues.

Far from everyone plays the online shooter Counter-Strike 2 fairly, with some trying to gain an advantage through special software. Recently, Valve struck at such individuals.

At the end of February, CS Stats recorded a sharp spike in the number of bans: more than 5 thousand bans in a single day. In the following days, about 500 more accounts were banned.

Similar ban waves periodically take place in Counter-Strike 2. Sometimes innocent players were also caught up in the "sweep," but in such cases VAC was usually lifted quickly.
