In the second half of 2026, the Ace of Spades board game will be available for sale in Russia, sure to appeal to fans of poker, Balatro, and adventures in the extraordinary Wild West.
Crowd Games Publishing has announced that it will release Ace of Spades and the Call of the Zombie expansion in Russian — a board game run for one or two players by Spanish game designer Benjamín Amorín.
According to the team, Ace of Spades is a solo embodiment of poker in the stylish setting of a hellish Wild West. The player will face a series of dangerous duels with the necromancer's henchmen and a chance to avenge the one who ruined the protagonist's life.
A game proceeds as follows: the participant receives eight cards and collects poker combinations from them, inflicting magical damage on opponents. The number of bullets and hand-deck updates is limited, and the enemies become more dangerous.
Each defeated enemy will give the player a special one-time or passive ability. And the battle with the final boss will be difficult and will require the participant to have a peak ace up their sleeve.
In cooperative mode, the gameplay becomes more difficult: everyone has their own cards in hand, you need to take turns and you can’t chat too much. Thanks to the Call of the Zombie expansion, the player will be able to face new enemies — a horde of immortal zombies and their master. The task changes, but the principle is the same: you need to play card combinations and hold on as long as possible.
The start of sales of Ace of Spades in Russia is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
